The Essentials Workshop

 

Come explore the basic learnings of the Feldenkrais Method in this three-hour specialty workshop. You will be introduced to a revolutionary holistic way of moving that many are raving about. Become deeply involved in your new wellness and fitness plan.

 

After this workshop, you will develop the skills and discover with an internal understanding of the basics ~ The Essentials.

Relax and Release ~ Series

 

Moving with your upper chest, center, and hips assists with flexibility and mobility in reaching, twisting and bending. Are you physically active, working at a desk all day, or a combination of both? Explore and unwind holding patterns in the upper and lower body. You will notice an improvement after each class series. 

Join us for all 6 classes.

 Does your running feel elegant and enjoyable?

 

Let's learn how to move our hips and legs "well enough," we don't have to reinvent the wheel.  We do need to refine the process... so we can do what we want!

Come experience more efficiency, ease and power in your stride... and rediscover pleasurable, elegance and a delight in running again. 

Two hour Wednesdays workshops are offered. Registration is required.

Class Conduct

  • Please be aware of personal hygiene. 

  • Arrive at least ten minutes prior to class.

  • Wear comfortable clothes for movement

  • Be prepared to lie on the floor on a mat. 

  • Please bring yoga mat or blanket and towel.

  • Remove shoes as we respect our studio floors.

  • Be prepared to relax and move at the same time.

  • Move organically to find the pleasure that best works with your limitations or injuries.

  • Take responsibility and not be disruptive to your neighbor - refrain from conversation during class.

  • If you arrive late, please enter the room quietly. If you have to leave prior to class ending exit silently.
