About Leondra

Leondra's mission for the past 12 years essential focus is in helping to improve the human condition in movement. Leondra exhibits her passion by educating each person on how to achieve their greatest potential: learning how to move more intelligently with an emphasis on wellness  - Founding Lady Day Wellness Inc.

Leondra was compelled to shift her focus (after an auto injury ) from the luxury of massage towards the field of Somatic Wellness Therapies: - Neuroplasticity Therapy; Functional Integration®, Awareness Through Movement®, Somatic Dance Therapy, Dance In Joy® & Femme!®.

Leondras' combined years of educational awareness derives from several sensations based hands-on therapies and the 4-year Intensive Feldenkrais Training Program - an internal understanding of the neuromuscular skeletal system. Leondras' internal movement expertise and her unique blend of therapies and training initiate an innovative approach at - Tranquil Touch Therapy® propelling her (Leondra) to become a highly requested Massage Therapist.

In her practice in the field of Wellness, Rehab, and Fitness, she (Leondra) is fascinated with Somatic psychology, Neuroplasticity and applies Dynamics System Theory ( Motor Learning ) in her work. In her Teaching, Educating and Coaching practices, she encourages students to investigate their well-being with the idea of Nature vs Nurture- to this their internal understanding is deepened with awareness quoted by Moshe Feldenkrais - "Movement is life".

Leondra continues to enjoy her relationships in the Gerontology community teaching her wellness and fitness classes. Seniors rapidly improve upon attending her ongoing group exercise classes. Improvement in balance, strength, and flexibility supports their goals - security in movement. Her mission statement is giving back to this community what is lost; the freedom of movement without fear.

Leondra tells her students:

" If You Don't Take Care of Your Body! Where Will You Live??".
